We have over 16 music teachers, all with either college training or professional performance experience. Our music teachers are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching you the style of music that you want to learn in your music lesson.

We offer music lessons six days a week from early in the morning to late at night to accommodate your busy schedule.
9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Our Studio has a proven track record of offering quality music, piano, guitar, voice, singing and drum lessons in Brooklyn, New York year round for the past 10 years! Our full-time mission is teaching music lessons trusted by over 250 families in South Brooklyn and our online lessons reach the world!
A COMFORTABLE PARENT'S LOUNGE FOR OUR CLIENTS.
With over 1,000 square feet we have one of the most spacious and parent friendly waiting areas in Brooklyn.
Instead of waiting in a music retail store showroom, our clients enjoy a spacious, professional parent's lounge with comfortable chairs, kids toys, Wi-Fi, and magazines. We also provide large observation windows on every door so that parents can watch their child's lesson while they wait. Or if they prefer, they can sit in on their lesson anytime they like.
THE FRIENDLIEST AND FULLY STOCKED MUSIC LESSON ROOMS IN BROOKLYN!
Our rooms are stocked with everything you need for music lessons, including amps, stereos, full drum kits with pads, keyboards, pianos and more. All you need to bring is your instrument.
One of the things that have really set us apart is our focus on providing lessons that are fresh, new, and engaging. It's a challenge to engage children or adults, but by integrating technology such as teaching apps from the iTunes store, GarageBand, ProTools, you name it, we're providing a cutting edge lesson experience in the Brooklyn area.
MUSIC RECITALS, CONCERTS AND TALENT SHOWS
A few times a year, we offer music recitals and showcases at our Studio! Every parent wants to know how their child is doing and how well they are progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it is to have their child participate in a recital.
In June and December many of our students choose to perform in our biannual recitals. We hold these at fun and exciting venues, including at our own studio. We even provide a red carpet and step and repeat banner to make it fun!
Our students even perform at the famous Carnegie Hall in Manhattan!
PROFESSIONAL OFFICE STAFF SIX DAYS A WEEK TO SERVE YOU.
Our Brooklyn Music School offers full time professional customer service for their students six days a week.
Many music studio desks are staffed by the teacher/owner, or more commonly, an answering machine. We have office team members who are available at the front desk to assist our clients quickly and professionally.
FRIDAY NIGHT YOUTH GROUP
Every Friday Night kids in the neighborhood come for free to enjoy pizza and a time of music and fun! It is just one way we give back to the community and combine music with building community and positivity!
COMMUNITY
Our Brooklyn music school strives to be a positive force in the Brooklyn Community. Students have a chance to learn how to serve their community and the world through our various outreach programs. Every Friday night we open our studio up for free to kids in the neighborhood for Friday Fellowship. There is free pizza, music, games and life lessons!
OUR FOUR-POINT SAFETY SYSTEM
Our studio has a four-point safety system to ensure the safety and comfort of each of our students. We have cameras throughout the studio, as well as glass doors for each of our classrooms. Each of our instructors goes through thorough background checks to ensure that they are well qualified to work in our studio, and parents are welcome to sit in on their child's lessons at any time.

Due to its family-friendly location in Bay Ridge, our school is convenient to all areas of Brooklyn. Our location is convenient and we have many students come from all over New York City!
PICTURE DAY
MONTH TO MONTH LESSONS
We are the only music school in Brooklyn that offers a picture day for their students. Every Spring and Fall we host a free picture day with professional photographers. This is a service that our students' parents love, as they all want quality photos of their children. Adults are welcome too! Students can bring their instruments to the photo shoot and wear whatever they like.
If you are ready to start, you have nothing to lose as we only want students who truly want to be here and we will not commit you to a long term contract.
Warm and Friendly Environment
Our students enjoy close to 2000 sq ft. of Brooklyn's most friendly music lesson rooms. Each studio is stocked with everything our students need, from pianos, keyboards and full drum kits with pads to amps and stereos. Parents can sit in on their child's lesson, watch through large observation windows, or relax in our spacious and comfortable parent’s lounge with WiFi and books for kids.

A Place to Thrive
It all began in a basement of a small community center in the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn.
More than just a music school, Bay Ridge School of Music is a community of young musicians in the Fort Hamilton section of Brooklyn. Through music, young people have an opportunity to escape from the craziness of growing up in the city. They have a chance to find themselves in the music. Something as simple as what is essentially a wooden box with metal strings becomes an escape pod from the world. We hope that you have an awesome time while you’re here!
It's been 10 years since we first started our small studio on 72nd street, and it has been the most amazing journey. We watch our students grow as musicians and more importantly, grow as young adults during our Friday Night Music Fellowship for teens. Our small space is making an impact on the lives
of young people in such a big way. We believe that God has so much in store for this place. Our strength is in our students, our staff, our parents and our community who believe in what we are doing here through music in Brooklyn.
